YELLOW

This includes flights:

·       Complex G and H-M impulse anticipated to exceed 25,000’ AGL (and stay below the waiver altitude)

 

Prior Notice Requirements:

Submit the following information along with a brief description of the overall project:

·       Description of the planned flight profile

·       Description of the system 

o   recovery device(s) (number, size, type)

o   number and type of flight computer(s) used to deploy recovery 

o   Recovery deployment settings on the flight computer(s)

ORANGE

This includes flights:

·       All complex L, M, and N impulse

Submit the following information along with a brief description of the overall project:

·       Description of the planned flight profile

·       Description of the system

o   number and type of flight computer(s) used to deploy recovery 

o   Recovery deployment settings on the flight computer(s)

·       OpenRocket, RASAero II, or RockSim file for the planned flight (include motor files for research motors)

·       All complex O and P impulse

·       Description of the planned flight profile

·       Description of the system

o   Recovery deployment settings on the flight computer(s)

·       Tripoli Class 3 Review Committee Review Committee review of the project

·       FAA Certificate of Authorization for the flight
